Dwarf White Isopod (Trichorhina tomentosa):

• Do not order in exteme cold or hot weather. Do not let packages sit outside or in mailboxes, they will die. For extreme temperatures (below freezing, above 90°F) please consider delaying your order or requesting a hold for pickup with the post office.
• Live dwarf white isopods (Trichorhina tomentosa) are a small (~1/8") isopod that is pure white. Useful as a cleanup crew in terrariums, feed for reptiles & amphibians. Count includes adults and juveniles, any "babies" will not count towards the quantity shipped.
• Dwarf white isopods are slow and often play dead/freeze if handled or disturbed. They will spend their majority of their time hidden in the substrate when not feeding.
• Will survive just fine at room temperature but prefer a more tropical climate for optimal production. Maintain a high humidity (60%+) with substrate moist substrate. Mist container 2-3 times a week.
• Feed on organic matter, mold, and feces. May be fed to reptiles but please be aware they are quite small and like to stay hidden. For supplemental feeding use fresh vegetables or a high protein food such as fish pellets or Repashy foods.
